Connected Calendars and Google User Data
Lenks lets you optionally connect a third-party calendar, such as Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, using the provider's secure authorization (OAuth) flow. You choose whether to connect a calendar, and you can disconnect it at any time. When you connect Google Calendar, our use of information received from Google APIs is limited to the practices described in this section.
- What we access: with your permission, our servers access your Google Calendar only to manage calendar events for your Lenks meetings. We do not read, collect, or store the contents of your other calendar events, your contacts, or any other Google account data.
- How we use it: we use this access solely to create the calendar event for a meeting you schedule in Lenks, update it if you change the meeting, and remove it if you cancel the meeting.
- What we store and how it is protected: we store only your authorization tokens (encrypted at rest) and the identifiers of the events we created, within access-controlled infrastructure.
- What we share: we do not sell Google user data, do not share it with third parties, and never use it for advertising, credit or lending decisions, or transfers to data brokers.
- Retention and deletion: when you disconnect the integration or delete your Lenks account, we delete the stored authorization tokens and event references.
Disconnecting and Revoking Access
You can disconnect your calendar at any time from the integration settings in your Lenks account. You can also revoke Lenks' access directly from your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google API Limited Use
Lenks' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Data Retention and Security
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When determining how long to retain information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encryption, firewalls, secure server infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and should notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breaches. We recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling any additional security features we offer, such as multi-factor authentication when available.
Security commitment
Lenks.ai processes and safeguards personal data in accordance with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other applicable data-protection regulations — with encryption in transit and at rest.
